As AL!VE kicks off its winter programming, it is hosting a community open house to showcase its facility expansion, offer discounts on program registrations and celebrate the grand re-opening of NOURISH by The Big Salad.
E & M Food Services, Inc., has purchased the franchise rights to NOURISH by The Big Salad, operated within AL!VE. The transition from a corporately owned to a franchise location will take effect Tuesday, Sept. 6.
E & M Food Services, Inc., is owned by Charlotte residents Eric and Morene McGill, who also operate a CrossFit business in MOVE, the fitness center at AL!VE.
NOURISH by The Big Salad will donate 5% of all sales Monday, Jan. 25, to AL!VE’s FITKids program.
The Fitness Initiative Targeting Kids after-school program teaches junior high and middle school students how to have fun and be safe while being more physically active and eating healthier foods. The curriculum was developed through a collaboration with Sparrow. The 2016 program will kick off in early fall.
The Big Salad is joining AL!VE, Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital’s experience-based destination health park in Charlotte, Mich. It will bring healthy nutrition to patrons by opening NOURISH by The Big Salad in fall 2014. The new location will stretch The Big Salad’s traditional menu offerings to include smoothies, fruits, specialty coffees and breakfast items.
