EMPOWER Patient Experience

Mike, a local author, came to EMPOWER after struggling with gait instability and general balance issues that made it difficult for him to carry out everyday tasks. Mike was determined to regain his stability and independence. Through personalized physical therapy, he not only improved his balance but also gained confidence in his everyday movements. AL!VE had the pleasure of seeing Mike excel in his treatments and received a gracious letter upon his graduation.

A Collaborative Approach to Treating Chronic Pain

As physical therapists, we frequently work with individuals experiencing pain for various reasons. While discomfort and pain are normal aspects of life and can even serve as protective signals, such as advising us to stop walking on an injured foot or prompting us to move after sitting too long, there comes a point where pain begins to interfere with function and quality of life. Addressing pain at this stage is essential. Pain is often associated with an identifiable cause, like a fracture or a recent surgery.
